Mission Statement

All Pro Wrestling Continues To Thrive

December 1, 2012

All Pro Wrestling (APW) is a professional wrestling promotion based out of the California Bay Area in Hayward. Founded in 1991 by Roland Alexander (who is still the owner), APW is one of California’s longest running independent pro wrestling promotions and training schools in the U.S.A.

There are five facets to APW. The first part is their Pro Wrestling Product. APW puts on monthly “Gym Wars” shows out of their arena, the APW Garage in Hayward, which are television productions for their weekly television show. The Garage intimately holds 50-75 people who are only a few feet from the non-stop action. In addition to the Gym Wars shows, APW also holds numerous “house shows” outside of Hayward each year. These shows have been held at high schools, colleges, Boys & Girls Clubs, armories, county fairs, and even Great America Amusement Park.

The second part of APW is their Pro Wrestling School, the APW Boot Camp. This is one of the strengths of APW, as they are able to produce their own talent, as opposed to other promotions who have to bring in outside wrestlers. The Boot Camp is a 2-year program. Several Boot Camp Graduates have gone on to become major stars in pro wrestling with the national promotions. These include: Matt Hyson, otherwise known as Spike Dudley in ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling) and WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), and as Brother Runt in TNA (Total Non-Stop Action); Michael Lockwood, better known as former WWE Superstar Crash Holly, where he held their Hardcore Championship more than anyone; Dalip Singh, aka The Great Khali, who is currently signed to WWE, where he is a former World Champion. Singh has also appeared in several major motion pictures, including The Longest Yard (2005), Get Smart (2008), and MacGruber (2010). It should be no surprise that All Pro Wrestling has been the leader in talent development since 1991.

The third part of APW is their Weekly Online Program, APW Gym Wars. Gym Wars began its run in January 2010 and continues to air on our YouTube Channel at www.youtube.com/allprowrestling making it available in over 2 million homes world wide.

The fourth part of APW is Pro Wrestling Themed Birthday Parties for kids with a customized “G” rated show.  Many families have booked the APW Garage to celebrate a birthday in their family.

The fifth part of APW is our Rental Services for our wrestling ring and/or our production friendly facility, which includes lights, sound, video screen, and a pro wrestling setting that many production companies have utilized to film short films and commercials, including, the late Randy "Macho Man" Savage and his agents/sponsor filming his "Slim Jim" Commercials.

APW is also active in their community. Instead of charging money for entrance into their Gym Wars Shows, they instead accept canned food and toys, which are donated to Alameda County Food Bank and distributed to those in need.

While pro wrestling has been known as more adult oriented entertainment, APW has maintained a family friendly atmosphere. Their matches are always physical and athletic, but not overly violent. Many of the wrestlers have wholesome and friendly personas, such as Jeckles The Jester, “Out Of Control” Matt Carlos, Mikey Jay, and "The British Messiah" Timothy Thatcher to name a few. APW even offers to throw wrestling-themed children’s birthday parties that are custom made for the birthday person.
